She equates dealing with Transgender issues is politicizing issue.Advocates collaborative teacher support but no explicit union expansion.
- Brian Moody: NO Few funds raised. Apparently not running.
- Susan Payne: NO I have it on good authority that Susan has NOT been endorsed by neither the local nor national Mothers-for Liberty organization. Didn’t resist implementing the Dept. of Health’s mask mandate; instead, was a liaison between state and schools to require masks on all students during Covid-19. Where was personal liberty? Has no substantive suggestions on how to improve math/reading, except “see what’s working and copy it.” Generalities with no specifics on safety issues. Favors continuance of “Board Governance” because “it has worked for 20 years,” yet it distances elected school board members from direct policy creation. Seems unconcerned with replacing the current extremely laborious policy to remove unacceptable books in the school libraries. Favors “Restorative Justice” rather than more direct discipline.
